It is vital that people from all communities have the opportunity to get involved. This section of the guide gives you practical advice on engaging with minority ethnic communities, including:

This guidance is strongly based on the National Standards for Community Engagement. These standards are applicable to engagement with all equalities groups. But it does take time to think through how the principles set out in the standards apply to engagement with minority ethnic communities.
