Engaging with Equalities Groups
A key principle of community engagement is ensuring that all communities are involved effectively in the community planning process.
Feedback from many people using this guide suggested many of you wanted more help and guidance on how to engage effectively with equalities groups.
As a result, there are two new sections of this guide:
• How to… engage with minority ethnic communities
• Using the National Standards for Community Engagement with equalities groups
In addition, the Scottish Government has prepared detailed guidance on approaches to ensuring equal opportunity in participation and consultation.
