Scottish Centre for Regeneration

How will we do this

We are working with those involved in community regeneration to:

develop skills

encourage excellent practice

support innovation

expand knowledge

promote learning.

In all our work, we will act as a hub for regeneration practice by:

• maintaining an outward focus, to help those involved in the regeneration of communities to become more effective.

• being inclusive and acting as a partner with other organisations involved in regeneration, building on and complementing their expertise.

• retaining a practical focus by enabling those working in regeneration to learn from previous work and experience.

• extracting the lessons learned from practice, policy, research and evaluation and sharing these among those involved in regeneration.

• remaining flexible and adapting to the changing circumstances and issues within regeneration.

• maintaining a commitment to mainstreaming equal opportunities, both in our work and by developing this within the broader regeneration community.

We want everyone involved in community regeneration to be able to link into our work. Simply use email us to tell us what you think and give us your suggestions.
