The National Standards for Community Engagement
The National Standards for Community Engagement were produced by the Communities Scotland. They were developed as a practical tool to help improve the experience of all participants involved in community engagement.
The standards were developed with the involvement of over 500 people from communities and agencies throughout Scotland. They set out:
• Key principles of community engagement
• Measurable performance standards
• Practical guidance on engagement activity.
