What do We Do?

We help to achieve Scottish Government’s Purpose, Targets and National Outcomes through supporting our public, private and voluntary sector delivery partners to become more effective at:

• creating and managing mixed and sustainable communities

• delivering community regeneration and tackling poverty

• developing more successful and attractive town centres and local high streets

To do this we are:

• are establishing 3 learning networks, covering the issues above, which will bring people together to:

• identify what support they need to achieve their outcomes

• put in place ways to improve their performance or overcome barriers they face

• develop systematic approaches to learning based on these needs

• develop new support tools where they feel there is a need

• act as a national hub which can identify and share what works, what doesn’t work and potential new approaches

• work with key national partners to support more effective cross sectoral approaches

If you wish to register an interest in being involved with the any of learning networks please email us on contactSCR@scotland.gsi.gov.uk

You can still access our published documents:

• Database: profiles on best practice in community regeneration.
