The Argyll and Clyde Area team covers six local authority areas: Argyll and Bute, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.
Our priorities are to:
• support the work of community planning partnerships, including integration of Community Planning Partnerships
• manage targeted investment in housing and regeneration
• help registered social landlords to get more involved in projects that benefit their local community
• support local authorities in the development of local housing strategies and standard delivery plans
• support the development of the social economy.
This year (2007-2008) the team will manage an investment budget of £79.5 million. This programme will help to deliver 665 new homes for rent or low-cost home ownership. Part of our Investment Programme this year is the Shared Equity Schemes. Details of New Supply Shared Equity projects being developed in the area will be available as they come on stream.

The Argyll and Clyde area team also works closely with the local authorities on regeneration by promoting good practice and the involvement of local people in decisions about how their communities are shaped, by increasing knowledge and understanding and by offering advice and practical assistance.
