Strategic Review Of Sheltered Housing In Edinburgh
Funding is a contribution towards a research project being undertaken by City of Edinburgh Council which is looking to evaluate current demand and supply of sheltered housing provision in the city; then use this information to inform future policy and investment in this area.
Roas Equalities Analysis
Individual equalities analysis of each of the 32 ROAs. Individual reports to be drafted for each CPP. Report to cover - equalities mapping by 7 equality strands/ community engagement/ legal compliance/ suggested points for action. Complementary capacity building with area office staff and direct feedback to cpp's.
Renfrewshire Older Persons Research
To investigate problems faced by older owner occupiers, particularly RTB owner occupiers. Anecdotal evidence suggests that members of this group face problems relating to maintenance and/or house type/size and/or locational problems. The research will consider whether or not house price differentials between ex-RTB and the open market hinder the ability of older owner occupiers to resolve their housing difficulties via the market and/or whether or not there are "cultural" hindrances which need to be overcome.

Health Improvement Planning in Scotland: An analysis of Joint Health Improvement Plans and Regeneration Outcome Agreements. Analyses the health improvement strategies set out in these CPP documents and compares them for fit for purpose, best practice, etc.

Greenspace Research
The Scottish Centre for Regeneration is working with Greenspace Scotland and other partners to deliver the “Demonstrating the Links” research programme. We provide support to deliver the programme and we are providing funding for the Demonstrating the Links Action Research Project.
Making the Links - Greenspace and Quality of Life. Technical Report
This is the result of a scoping survey commissioned into greenspace and quality of life. The survey was jointly commissioned by Greenspace Scotland, Communities Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage and NHS Health Scotland.

Forth Valley Minority Ethnic Research
To explore the housing circumstances, needs and preferences of minority ethnic
communities, including Gypsies/Travellers, in the Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling local authority areas, to inform future strategic planning and service provision by stakeholders operating in the areas.
Black And Minority Ethnic Needs Study
The purpose of the study is to explore the housing needs of black and minority ethnic communities living in Edinburgh, Fife, East Lothian, Mid Lothian, West Lothian and Fife.

Assessing the housing needs of minority ethnic communities in North and South Lanarkshire
This research (precis no 93) was commissioned as a follow up to the national guidance produced by Communities Scotland “Developing a good practice fro effective community eengagement and housing needs assessemnt for minority ethnic communities”. This latest study aimed to test this guidance and in so doing investigate the housing needs of minority ethnic communities in North and South Lanarkshire Councils.
