Tenant Participation Development Team
Who we are
We are a small team covering the whole of Scotland supporting registered tenant organisations (RTOs) and landlords on issues around participation and sharing good practice. The key members of our team are set out below. If you require any help on tenant participation or have a related query please give one of us a call and we will do our best to help you:

What we do
We provide the following key services to RTOs in Scotland:
• Give advice and support to tenant and resident organisations in order to help them become more involved and empowered about the issues that affect their homes and communities.
• Work with RTOs to achieve their wishes to improve communication between the Scottish Government and RTO groups.
• Assess applications for grants from RTOs in order to help them raise awareness of participation and increase their profile within their communities and beyond.
We provide the following key services to landlords in Scotland:
• We visit landlords and provide tailored advice and guidance to improve and promote tenant participation in their area.
• Identify and share examples of good practice in tenant participation
Our work is supported by an Advisory Group made up of tenant group representatives, COSLA, SFHA, TIS, TPAS and TIGHRA.
