Regeneration networks
We support regeneration networks, and help them to identify and share the lessons learned from their work and research.
This involves us working with, and through, a variety of networks to stimulate sharing of effective practice, enhance existing networks and share lessons.
Key networks for us at present include:
Partners in Regeneration bringing together the key national networks, players and stakeholders in community regeneration from across Scotland to promote learning and knowledge exchange.
EQUAL Access Mainstreaming Partnership on employability issues.
EQUAL Developing the Social Economy Partnership on supporting the growth and sustainability of social economy organisations and networks.
UK Regeneration Convention which holds an annual convention for policy makers, practitioners and community and voluntary interests from across the UK.
Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum (SURF) which is the independent regeneration and inclusion network for Scotland.
Scottish Executive colleagues who will be developing the Community Planning Practitioners Network.
Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) on developing an e-Bulletin and developing our bank of project profiles.
Arts and Communities Association Connector Project which is a learning network promoting best practice and continuous improvement between the arts and communities.
Community Voices Network which aims to help people from disadvantaged communities in Scotland to play a bigger role in the decisions which affect the regeneration of their communities.
Regional Centres of Excellence and the Academy for Sustainable Communities to enhance and facilitate information exchange and skills development across the UK.
We are also examining the scope for exchanging best practice with networks from outside Scotland and have joined Quartiers en Crise to help us tap into European policy, programmes and experience.
